Yingwei Chen graduated from Tsinghua University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with degrees in Electrical Engineering. As a research scientist at Philips Research for over ten years,  Yingwei played an active role in the research and standardization of HDTV and digital video coding. Subsequently, she launched her career in finance upon getting an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. Yingwei was a senior trader and salesperson in structured finance before taking on the role of club owner and manager of NJBC in 2021. Yingwei is devoted to elevating badminton as the next prominent sport in the USA.
